- You must have a degree in Engineering from a recognized university in India.
- For JE (IT) post you must have B.Sc. or BCA or B. Tech. from a recognized university in India.
- You must be a citizen of India
- You must pass certain medical exams as specified by the Railway Recruitment Board.
- For Junior Engineering : Diploma/Engineering in Engineering In Relevant Disciplines from recognized Board/ University/ Institute.
- For Depot Material Superintendent : Diploma/Engineering in Engineering From Any Discipline.
- For Junior Engineer (Information Technology) : PGDCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science)/ BCA/ B.Tech. (Information Technology)/ B.Tech. (Computer Science)/ DOEACC ‘B’ Level Course Of 03 Years Duration Or Equivalent From Recognized University/ Institute.
- Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant : B.Sc., Chemistry and Physics

Application fee for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen/ Women/ Minorities/ Persons with Disabilities/ Economically backward classes Is Rs. 250/- in Which Rs. 400/- Will Be Refunded. For UR/ OBC male candidates not coming within the purview of exempted categories, as above, Examination fee is Rs. 500/- (Rupees One Hundred only) In Which Rs. 250/- Will Be Refunded.
Syllabus for RRB JE Recruitment Exam
- The syllabus for the first computer-based test includes mathematics, general intelligence and reasoning, general awareness, and general science.
- The syllabus for the second computer-based test includes general awareness, physics, and chemistry, basics of computer applications, basics of environment and pollution control, and technical abilities.
How to Apply for RRB JE Recruitment 2022
If you are looking to appear for the RRB JE exam then you must know the different eligibility criteria along with the various phases of the exam. Having said that, the RRB Junior Engineer exam is conducted in three different phases. The first phase of the exam includes a computer-based test of 100 marks. The second phase of the exam again includes a computer-based test. But the second test is for 150 marks. The third phase of the exam includes document verification and medical examination.
Only the candidates who qualify after the first and second computer-based test are called for document verification and medical examination.
