Eligibility Criteria
Education
Candidates must have passed 10th, 12th, ITI, or Graduation, depending on the post for which they are applying. Each sports category may have additional sports-related achievements required as per norms.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary in the pay band of ₹18,000 to ₹29,200, depending on their post and level.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit is 25 years as of the last date of application. Age relaxation is not mentioned and may not be applicable under sports quota.

Southern Railway has announced a massive recruitment drive through Notification No. 01/2025 for the engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961. A total of 3518 vacancies have been released for both Freshers and Ex-ITI candidates in different trades across Southern Railway divisions.
