All India Apprentice Recruitment
The Apprentices Act, 1961 regulates training programs for Railway apprentices in different industries. The act has mandated that employers in certain industries should engage apprentices in designated trades for on-the-job apprentice training. To join the training candidates, require to have a National trade certificate from the National Council for Vocational Training. Apprentices have to pass through basic training and practical on the job training to know the real working conditions.
Educational qualification for apprenticeship training
During the apprenticeship training, candidates get a monthly stipend and after completing the training they can get regular jobs in both government and private sectors. Any person of 14 years or above fulfilling the basic educational and physical standards mentioned in the Apprentices Act 1961 is eligible for an apprenticeship. Railway Trade Apprentice
A trade apprentice is a person undergoing apprenticeship training in any designated trade. Designated trade refers to any field, trade, occupation, engineering, non-engineering, vocational field as certified by the government. Although certain trades require B.Sc. pass candidates for apprenticeship training, 8th, 10th, 12th standards and ITI pass-outs are eligible for training in most cases.
Railway Graduate Apprentice
Persons holding a degree in engineering or non-engineering field are eligible for apprenticeship training in a designated trade.
Railway Technician Apprentice
A person having a diploma in engineering or non-engineering field can apply for apprenticeship training in a designated trade.
Railway Technician (Vocational) Apprentice
A person with a certificate in a vocational course after completing secondary education from a board recognized at All India Council is eligible for apprenticeship training.
