RRB ALP Recruitment 2026 For 11127 Assistant Loco Pilots, 10th Pass and ITI Posts

Indian Railways under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India has released the Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) No. 01/2026 for the recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) posts across various Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs). Through this recruitment drive, a total of 11,127 vacancies will be filled across different railway zones in India. Candidates who possess the required technical qualifications as specified in the detailed notification will be eligible to apply for these posts. The selection will be conducted through the Railway Recruitment Boards following the standard railway recruitment process. Interested candidates must submit their applications through online mode only via the official RRB application portal. The online application process will begin on 15 May 2026 and will close on 14 June 2026.

Salary

• Pay Level: Level 2 as per 7th Central Pay Commission
• Initial Basic Pay: ₹19,900 per month
• Additional allowances such as DA, HRA and other railway benefits will be provided as per government rules

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 30 Years
• Age will be calculated as on 01 July 2026
• Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India rules

• Computer Based Test (CBT)
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination
